As a Laboratory Technologist, you will be responsible for performing and evaluating the validity of technical laboratory procedures in all rotated clinical areas of the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient specimens to obtain data for use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease per the facility and profession standards of practice. Responsibilities of the Medical Laboratory Technician/ Technologist

• Maintaining all aspects of quality assurance, control, & improvement
• Providing rapid & accurate reporting of results, preventative maintenance, & technical assistance
• Relaying & documenting all alert (critical) values appropriately; & modeling appropriate behavior as exemplified in the facility's Mission and Values statement.
• Night shift 6p-6:30a Requirements of the Medical Laboratory Technician/ Technologist
  • Associate or Bachelor degree in Applied Science
  • Required Medical Technology certification
  • Registry as a medical technologist from a national board of certification C.A.P., M.T. (A.S.C.P.); A.M.T.; N.C.A, C.L.S. , is preferred.
