Large meats processing company is looking for a QA Supervisor for one of their facilities in TNRelocation Assistance is available (This company does not sponsor or relocate candidate from outside of the US) ****Candidates must have experience in USDA regulated poultry / meats processing & quality leadership experience Summary
This role leads the continual development and implementation of the HACCP plans to meet USDA regulations, company and customer expectations regarding food safety. -
Monitors plant GMP's and other prerequisite programs daily.Details
- Develops programs and procedures to ensure regulatory and company food safety requirements are met and maintained.
- Communicates to and trains all associates prior to their implementation.
- Audits all HACCP records providing timely feedback to management.
- Hands on involvement in all food safety problems that arise during the shift and developing appropriate solutions and corrective actions/preventative measures for those problems.
- Conducts validations of scientific data that support facility food safety decisions as needed yearly.Requirements
- Bachelor degree
- 3+ years of experience in meat/poultry industry quality leadership - HACCP certification, knowledge of USDA regulations including GMP, SSOP and HACCP and labeling.
