The products are sold across a network of sewing machine dealers, mass retailers (e.g., Costco, Walmart, Lidl, MediaMarkt, Carrefour), specialty retailers (e.g., Joann, Michaels), online retailers (e.g., Amazon, Tmall), distributors, and through the company's -180 internally operated retail stores.
ABOUT THE POSITION: We are looking to hire a Marketing Coordinator/Specialist to serve as a liaison between Marketing and Sales for trade marketing activities that includes promotions, advertising, project management and communication flow for our Business to Business Channels. The ideal candidate will have experience in a wide range of marketing functions, including communications, advertising, branding, and digital. The marketing coordinator must be an organized multitasker, able to handle many diverse projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. You will work closely with the B2B Marketing Manager, Account Managers, and Regional Sales Managers to ensure timely and proper implementation of approved marketing plans and programs. As a successful hire, you will be tasked with helping identify marketing trends and opportunities for growth, as well as creating and implementing marketing materials. Some everyday tasks include maintaining a project tracker, creating and managing the implementation and delivery of marketing collateral, recording data from campaigns, and helping with the organization of presentations.
Key responsibilities are:

  • Regularly collaborate with the B2B Marketing Manager, Account Managers, and Regional Sales Managers on marketing projects
    • Attend weekly sales meetings sharing marketing updates and learning current sales trends
    • Communicate marketing objectives, timelines, and deliverables to sales team, and provide instructions for usage and promotion
    • Assist in creation and update of B2B marketing offers and materials, including mediakits and sales decks, planograms, one-pagers, D2C ad examples, etc.
    • Contribute to ideation, planning, production, and implementation of retailer's marketing activities, including point of purchase materials and promotions
    • Support the B2B Marketing Manager develop collateral that will push brand visibility, availability, promotional activities and offer great customer experience to the end consumer
      • Includes POP displays, inspirational and educational photography, videos, e-spots, web banners, blog posts, projects, etc.
      • Collaborate with the Education team for content accuracy
      • Edit, proofread, and improve content
      • Work in partnership with design agency to optimize creative, producing high quality content
      • Assist in the production and distribution of trade marketing assets to retailers with outside vendors such as printers and POP suppliers, and the DAM (Digital Asset Management tool)
      • Use content management solutions to create, update, and enhance product pages across retailer's websites
        • Deliver engaging written and visual content for retailer's product pages and/or brand shop pages
        • Optimize content considering SEO
        • Maintain tracker/calendar of all marketing projects
          • Includes plans for the development and delivery of new product launches and product resets
          • Maintains operational requests from Mass Retailers and Regional Sales Managers for Dealers in terms of end-consumer visibility, making sure corporate guidelines are respected and activities are aligned with the marketing strategies
          • Supports yearly trade marketing plans, including trade shows, conventions, magazines, television, digital sponsorships, etc.
          • Tracks marketing activities by using available POS sales and website data
          • Stay informed of all product, price, and pack changes and assist in implementation or communication of necessary changes rapidly
          • Visit the points of sales regularly to ensure that the brand is visible, and guidelines are respected
          • Keep abreast of the trends in the industry through market studies and research QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
            • 3+ years experience in related field; proven work experience as a marketing specialist preferred
            • Knowledge of Trade Marketing activities, tools, and techniques is preferred
            • Knowledge of SEO/SEM
            • Proficiency with Google Collaboration Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
            • Experience in retail or merchandising is an advantage Skills/personal qualifications-
              • Strong project management, presentation, and interpersonal skills
              • Design and creative literate with ability to constructively brief and approve creative work
              • High attention to detail
              • Outstanding copywriting and copyediting abilities
              • Ability to harness collaboration to produce well-crafted content

                WORK ENVIRONMENT: Works in a typical office environment at Corporate HQ/ in the Nashville area. Ability to travel domestically for career fairs, dealer/retail meetings.

                • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine and computer printer.
                • Occasionally moves sewing machines weighing up to 30 pounds across the office as needed.
