Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A school is seeking a dedicated Special Education
Teacher to provide exceptional support for students across
elementary, middle, and high school levels in Hixson, TN. This
contract role is ideal for educators with expertise in special
education and a commitment to fostering inclusive learning
environments. The position runs from as soon as possible through
the end of the school year, serving students from Kindergarten
through 12th grade. Qualifications: Active Special Education
Teaching License in the state of Tennessee Experience working with
K-12 students in special education settings Strong classroom
management and individualized instruction skills Ability to
collaborate effectively with staff, families, and related service
providers Location: Hixson, Tennessee Contract Duration: Immediate
start End of School Year Work Schedule: 5 hours/day, 30 days total
Age Group: Kindergarten through 12th grade Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
tailored to each students needs Deliver differentiated lessons that
promote academic and social growth Monitor student progress and
adjust instructional strategies as necessary Collaborate with
general education teachers and support staff to ensure integrated
learning experiences Maintain accurate records and communicate
