Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher to
support K-12 students in an elementary school setting, focusing on
a behavior classroom. The position is contract-based for the
current school year and requires a valid Alabama Special Education
license. The role offers a full-time schedule, working 37.5 hours
per week across five days. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver
individualized instruction tailored to students with special
education needs - Manage classroom behavior using positive and
effective strategies - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to
develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) -
Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as necessary -
Maintain detailed documentation and communication with families and
school staff Qualifications: - Hold a valid Alabama Special
Education (SPED) license - Experience working with elementary age
groups in a behavior classroom environment - Strong knowledge of
special education laws and best practices - Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills - Ability to create a supportive and
