(OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
(COTA) license, and 1 years Certified Occupational Therapy
Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding opportunity is
available for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to
support students in an elementary school setting. This contract
position is located in Huntsville, Texas, serving an elementary
caseload within a school environment. The role offers part-time
hours, ranging from 8 to 16 hours per week, with a commitment from
the start date ASAP through May 22, 2026. Key Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of
licensed therapists to assist students in developing fine motor,
sensory processing, and functional skills. Collaborate with
educators and support staff to implement individualized education
programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs. Maintain detailed
documentation of student progress and therapy sessions in
compliance with school and regulatory standards. Participate in
team meetings and communicate effectively with families to support
student development. Desired Qualifications: Certification as an
Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with relevant school-based
experience preferred. Ability to work onsite within the school
environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to
collaborate with students, families, and school staff. Experience
working with elementary-aged children is highly desirable.
Location: Huntsville, Texas (onsite) Contract Duration: Current
