We have an entrepreneurial mindset that encourages all our Team Members to use their own creativity and out of the box thinking to come up with solutions and new ideas.Continuous Improvement EngineerSummaryReporting to the Continuous Improvement Team Leader the Continuous Improvement Engineer will work on special continuous improvement projects related to continually reducing costs and increasing overall efficiencies; all within a fast-paced, high-growth food manufacturing environment.Duties and Responsibilities:As part of the CI team, work on multiple continuous improvement projects related to manufacturing and total operationsAnalyze information, develop, and measure standard metrics, diagram the flow of processes and identify opportunities for improvementWith the team, you will develop project plans for implementing improvements and monitoring newly implemented processesAssist in all testing of new equipment, methods and or productsAssist in development of SOPs and machine settingsCreate an environment which continues to foster continuous improvement and lean manufacturingEnsure that a safe working environment is maintained at all timesPerform other tasks as requiredMinimum Qualifications:Completed Post-Secondary education (Industrial, Mechanical, or Chemical) Engineering2+ years' experience in a Continuous Improvement role in manufacturingTraining in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt) is preferredPrior work experience in a food manufacturing environment is preferredMust possess excellent analytical skillsMust have demonstrated ability to interact with others and is adept at leading and motivating a teamFlexible to work different work schedules when neededExcellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills are requiredMust have strong working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeMust be flexible, high energy and passionate in getting things doneValid driver's license
