Job Description Job Description Job Summary We’re hiring
experienced Industrial Maintenance Technicians to maintain, repair
and improve industrial production equipment and material handling
systems in a fast-paced production environment. The equipment and
operating conditions are similar to what you’d find in plastics
processing, extrusion, injection molding, blown film, textiles,
converting, packaging, or other continuous manufacturing
operations, where mechanical issues, heat, motion, and tight
tolerances all intersect. You’ll support both day-to-day production
and longer-term maintenance initiatives, including preventive
maintenance, shutdown work, troubleshooting, and equipment
upgrades. The work requires strong mechanical judgment, the ability
to diagnose root causes under pressure, and comfort working around
rotating equipment, conveyors, pumps, motors, compressors, and
thermally influenced machinery. Compensation $28- $36 / hr $2 / hr

Responsibilities Mechanical Equipment Maintenance & Repair –
Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery including
conveyors, pumps, motors, compressors, and related mechanical
systems to ensure reliable operation. Industrial Equipment Exposure
– Support and maintain production equipment and systems commonly
found in plastics, extrusion, injection molding, blown film,
textiles, converting, packaging, or other continuous manufacturing
environments Troubleshooting & Breakdown Response – Diagnose
mechanical failures, malfunctions, and performance issues;
implement effective repairs to minimize downtime and restore
production quickly. Preventive & Shutdown Maintenance – Perform
scheduled PMs, inspections, and planned shutdown maintenance to
extend equipment life and reduce unplanned failures. Blueprints &
Technical Interpretation – Read and interpret mechanical drawings,
schematics, and technical documentation to support equipment
installation, repair, and modification work. Calibration &
Equipment Setup – Verify and adjust equipment alignment,
tolerances, and operating conditions to meet performance and
quality requirements. Component Replacement & Rebuilds – Repair or
replace worn or defective parts and assemblies while maintaining
production schedules and safety standards. Spare Parts & Inventory
Support – Assist with identifying required parts, tracking usage,
and ensuring critical spares and tools are available when needed.
Maintenance Documentation – Record maintenance activities, repairs,
inspections, and part usage; communicate equipment conditions and
risks to leadership. Equipment Improvements & Modifications –
Support machine upgrades, retrofits, and reliability improvements
to enhance safety, efficiency, and performance. Training &
Mentorship – Train and support junior technicians or mechanics on
equipment operation, maintenance practices, and safety
expectations. Fabrication & Welding Support – Perform welding,
fabrication, or mechanical modifications as required to support
repairs and improvements. Electrical & Controls Interaction – Use
computer-based diagnostic tools to assist with electrical
components, sensors, drives, and PLC-supported systems (diagnostic
support, not programming). Qualifications Required Experience – 3
years of hands-on industrial mechanical maintenance experience in a
manufacturing or production environment. Mechanical Skills – Strong
troubleshooting ability across rotating equipment, conveyors,
pumps, motors, compressors, and mechanical assemblies. Preventive
Maintenance – Experience performing PMs, inspections, shutdown
work, and corrective maintenance. Technical Interpretation –
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Problem Solving – Proven ability to assess equipment issues,
identify root causes, and execute effective repairs. Hands-On Work
Ethic – Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable taking
ownership of assigned work. Physical Requirements – Ability to lift
up to 50 lbs regularly, work at heights, enter confined spaces, and
operate in hot or cold industrial environments. Preferred Education
& Certifications – Associate degree or technical certification in
industrial maintenance, mechanical systems, or a related field.
Industrial Environment Exposure – Experience in manufacturing,
processing, or heavy industrial operations. Welding & Fabrication –
Practical welding or fabrication experience supporting repairs and
modifications. Electrical Exposure – Experience assisting with
electrical troubleshooting, sensors, motors, drives, or PLC-based
systems. Leadership & Training – Prior experience mentoring junior
technicians or supporting skill development on the floor. Benefits
