Technician Location: Nashville, TN Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Boiler
Technician to join our mechanical contracting team. In this role,
you will be the technical lead on-site, responsible for the
installation, maintenance, and emergency repair of commercial and
industrial heating systems. From high-pressure steam boilers to
high-efficiency condensing units, you will ensure our clients'
systems operate at peak performance while adhering to all municipal
and state safety codes. Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Repair:
Perform routine preventative maintenance, cleaning, and complex
repairs on water-tube, fire-tube, and cast-iron boilers.
Diagnostics: Utilize advanced combustion analyzers and digital
controls to troubleshoot burner performance and efficiency issues.
Installation: Read and interpret blueprints and piping schematics
to install new boiler systems, including pumps, valves, and
venting. Water Chemistry: Test boiler water quality and manage
chemical treatment systems to prevent corrosion and scale buildup.
Compliance: Maintain meticulous logs of all services performed and
ensure systems meet ASME and local jurisdictional requirements.
Emergency Response: Participate in an on-call rotation to provide
24/7 emergency support for critical facilities (hospitals, schools,

Required Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on
experience in commercial/industrial boiler service. Licensing: Must
have a valid Driver’s License with a clean record. Technical
Skills: Experience with burner management systems. Strong knowledge
of gas, oil, and dual-fuel firing systems. Proficiency in reading
wiring diagrams and ladder logic. Physical Demands: Ability to lift
50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and climb ladders or scaffolding
as needed. Preferred Skills & Certifications EPA Section 608
Universal Certification. ASME welding certification or pipefitting
experience. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Safety Training. Familiarity with
Building Automation Systems (BAS) integration.
