Job Description:

Williamson Health and Wellness Center seeks a dedicated Equipment Technician to join our team in Williamson, WV. The successful candidate will be integral in ensuring that all medical equipment is functional, safe, and properly configured to meet the dynamic needs of our community healthcare initiatives. This role requires a meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to equipment maintenance and problem-solving. Perform regular maintenance and safety checks on all medical equipment Diagnose and repair malfunctioning medical devices Install new medical equipment and ensure it is configured to the facility’s specifications Train medical staff on the proper use of equipment Maintain inventory of supplies and spare parts Document all maintenance and repairs in compliance with state and federal regulations Strong technical and mechanical skills Ability to read and interpret technical manuals Proficiency with diagnostic tools Excellent problem-solving abilities Good communication skills and ability to explain technical details to non-technical staff Attention to detail Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) preferred Any additional certifications related to medical equipment or electronics
