Job Description:

Pool and Spa Depot, headquartered in LaVergne, Tennessee, is looking to add an Assistant Service Department Manager to our team!The Assistant Service Department Manager will assist the Service Manager in the daily oversight of the Service Department, ensuring customer service and satisfaction.
Job Duties include; but are not limited to the following:

• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair and install any and all pool related equipment, safety pool covers, safety fences, etc for residential and commercial customers as well as experience in pool openings, pool closings, routine pool maintenance and installation of pool equipment.
• Effectively handle continuous service calls in a positive customer service manner
• Provide quotes for service calls
• Coordinate service technicians, scheduling and daily tasks
• Troubleshooting and resolving service issues with swimming pools and hot tubs
• Administer and perform all activities in line with company procedures regarding the service department
• Maintain a working knowledge of all products and services
• Support ongoing learning and development of team members
• Create and foster a respectful and inclusive team environment
  Qualifications:
  • Proven track record in customer service and experience in a Service Department
  • Valid Drivers License and a clear driving record
  • Previous experience in swimming pool and equipment maintenance and repair
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and/or Google Docs
  • Organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Effective time management skills ensuring meeting deadlines, as promised.
  • Willingness to work in a team environment
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed, including some Saturdays
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to pass a pre employment drug screen.
