  Job Summary and QualificationsUnder the leadership of the Corporate Transfer Center Director of Clinical Services, the Corporate Education Manager, is responsible for developing education and training to support all functions within the transfer center scope including transfer center operations, centralized patient placement, behavioral health assessment services, medical transportation, and all other. This position will partner with the field TC (Transfer Center) leadership in crafting education programs and materials, training tools, and optimal delivery strategies for new and existing members of transfer centers; ensuring organizational alignment and evidence-based practices are in place. This position will also oversee and lead training, consisting of but not limited to: improvement and implementation of new initiatives, clinical programs to include transfer center clinical protocols & processes, and quality analysis processes.
  As the Corporate Education Manager for the HCA Transfer Centers, you will:
  • Develops and leads the implementation & adoption of all transfer center education and training needs, which include the continued evolution to an integrated shared service model with standard technology, processes, and infrastructure that support a complete healthcare system capacity management and patient flow operation
  • Serves as primary point of contact for the field transfer center leaders to support all needs for education and training for staff, including new program & function development
  • Aligns with key transfer center operators in the strategic needs of all initiatives to ensure understanding of the educational needs & proposed change management curve where education can assist
  • Participates with any emergency evacuation or decompression efforts across the enterprise as needed
  • Gains buy-in for transfer center education initiatives through building & leveraging key relationships within the matrix and ensuring alignment with company goals; utilizes presentation opportunities to key audiences to influence change
  • Tracks progress on improvements made through launch, as well as after implementation, of all training programs & changes to educational practices, including key performance indicators represented through metric reporting for optimal outcomes.
  • Supports the staff orientation and onboarding processes through educational assistance to help promote staff retention
  • Travel required -25%
    Qualifications Education and Requirements:
    • Bachelor s degree (4 Year Program)
    • Minimum 3 years experience in creating and executing on nurse education & training programs
    • RN or BSN required
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people, including but not limited to nursing professionals.
      Preferences:
      • Bachelor s degree (4 Year Program)
      • 5+ years experience in creating and executing on nurse education & training programs
      • Transfer Center experience preferred
