Job Description:
Job Description Summary of Job: Builds and cultivates
relationships and opportunities, typically within existing
accounts. Responsible for executing the sales process to cultivate,
qualify and close new sales opportunities within existing accounts
selling the full Lee Company service and technology portfolio to
facility owners or managers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
(include but are not limited to) Build partnering relationships
with owners or decision making owner representatives to drive the
sale of service offerings Propose technical services and training
to clients relating to use, operation, and maintenance of equipment
Share technical knowledge and operations expertise (when to
maintain, when to replace) with the customer Solicit support from
and communicate effectively with internal staff to ensure customer
satisfaction Acts as the customer---s advocate in interactions with
Lee Company to ensure the customer obtains the best value from
offerings and set appropriate customer expectations on product and
service offerings Ability to sell and present company products and
services to current and potential clients Manage an assigned
account base with the goal of increasing company revenue by
generating sales from existing customers across multiple industries
Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets in
your territory Effectively present products and services to develop
deep relationships Meet sales goals for products and services to
both new and existing customers in assigned territory Prepare
presentations, proposals, and sales contracts Utilize current and
new, innovative sales tools to effectively plan and increase
business opportunity in accounts Pursue training and development
opportunities whenever needed to improve capabilities Participate
in professional organizations, regional networking opportunities,
trade shows, and conventions Develop and maintain sales materials
and current product knowledge Keep Manager informed of sales
progress, account status, and changes in the marketplace through
CRM, regularly scheduled meetings, and sales tracking reports. Will
call for assistance from Manager to keep the sales process moving
Must be able to handle stress and job demands Must be able to
cooperatively work with others Education and Experience:
Bachelor---s degree in business, engineering, or related discipline
preferred A minimum of three years of progressive field sales
experience with at least one year successfully selling similar
services or projects In-depth knowledge of the
industrial/commercial HVAC sales industry as well as client
relations A working familiarity and proficiency with Microsoft
Office Suite products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and
ability to be trained in the use of company-specific applications
and software LEED Certification preferred, but not required Skills
and Abilities: Requires the ability to identify and understand
customer needs and close the sale Requires effective time
management skills Requires the ability to accept and implement
change Ability to work efficiently within our CRM solution to
prospect, administer leads generated by campaigns, update customer
records, manage a pipeline of opportunities and deliver accurate
forecasting for the assigned territory Proven persuasion and
negotiation skills Strong communication skills to build rapport
with existing customers and within the organization Ability to
conduct in-depth sales presentations, including product
demonstrations that highlight key benefits, ROI, and the value of
our solutions and services Requires commitment to integrity and
quality in business Requires excellent initiative and dependability
Proof of good track record in B2B sales Requires excellent
interpersonal and communications skills --- actively listens,
probes, and identifies concerns Requires the ability to influence
account decision makers at key levels Ability to create, compose
and edit written materials Requires good organizational skills
Requires a professional and positive demeanor Requires the ability
to assess difficult customer situations and develop effective
solutions Requires the ability to explain technical/mechanical
information to a non-technical audience Requires good analytical
ability Requires the ability to meet deadlines for mandated
timeline-sensitive projects and initiatives Requires the ability to
