Provides hiring, promotion and disciplinary action recommendations, as well as performance evaluation and feedback for direct reports. Plans and implements for all or some of the company's product line national sales programs. Directs development of sales objectives, strategies, advertising and promotional programs and ensures their execution. Drives culture of partnership with internal functions and 3rd party vendors to meet NPS, margin and share objectives. Builds partnerships with customers to identify their needs, compiles opportunities and collaborates with internal functions to evaluate new product ideas and/or continuous product improvement opportunities. Monitors industry trends and changing regulations to ensure competitiveness and compliance. Periodically visits key international customers.QualificationsPosition Summary: Regal Rexnord is seeking a Director of Sales working in our Climate Solutions Distribution business who will be responsible for leading and driving sales growth of our broad line of HVAC/R aftermarket electric motors, blowers, indoor air quality and power transmission products. Leading a highly focused team of Sales Professionals, the Director of Sales is responsible for sales strategy development, sales strategy implementation, and sales revenue achievement in the United States and Canada. Major Responsibilities:

  • Lead all aspects of sales strategy development and execution as related to both maintenance of existing business and successful pursuit of competitive share capture.
  • Key functional lead and contributor to overall business strategy along with marketing, engineering, customer service, and SIOP.
  • Lead talent and capability development and staffing decisions within the sales function.
  • Create and drive a vision that ensures ongoing sense of focus, direction and urgency throughout the sales team.
  • Create and maintain solid professional relationships with key customers and also key individuals with Regal Rexnord.
  • Lead successful customer negotiations in developing commercial agreements that maximize competitive positioning and profitable sales.
  • Lead performance measurement and variable compensation communication and administration.
  • Represents the sales function in all matters relating to strategy, tactics, and regular business updates.
  • Achieve and maintain trust and confidence of all internal functions as required to add team value and achieve goals
  • Maintain conduct in accordance with Regal Rexnord vision, mission, values, initiatives and company policies. Required Education / Experience / Skills:
  • Candidates should possess a BA or BS degree. An MBA is a plus.
  • Proven track record of 10 years plus sales leadership and success. HVAC/R industry experience is a plus.
  • Proven ability to develop trusted, respectful relationships internally and externally.
  • Demonstrable track record of commercial leadership and attainment of sales growth objectives.
  • Experience in balancing internal and external demands and responsibilities in a matrix environment.
  • Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of personal initiative, energy and ownership of business results.
  • Strong computer skills Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Strong desire to advance career. Travel: 50% Language: English
