  • Tennessee State Veterans' Home provide long term skilled nursing care for veterans, veteran spouses, and Gold Star parents.
  • Providing care to patients in nursing home environment
  • Works under the supervision of nurses to deliver high quality care to patients
  • Help patients with their basic needs
  • Feed, bathe, and dress patients
  • Serve meals, make beds, and keep rooms clean
  • Regular one-on-one contact with patients to build a compassionate relationships to assist patients through times of illness with dignity
  • Set up medical equipment and assist with some medical procedures
  • Store and set up medical equipment
  • Answer calls for help
  • Observe changes in patients' condition and emotional state
  • Listen and make a significant difference to the quality of care patients receive

    • 1 year experience
    • CNA licensure/certification in state of Tennessee
