Medical Oncology Registered Nurse wanted in central Tennessee
Still hiring during COVID-19 This is a 32-bed medical unit that
specializes in the care of medical and oncology patients. The ages
range from young adults to geriatrics. We specialize in
chemotherapy and radiation. We also care for patients with end of
life conditions, so they may have the most peaceful and pain free
passing. There is a variety of illness, diseases, and diagnoses.
Nurse to patient ratio is 5:1 in this unit. This position is
responsible for providing professional nursing care utilizing the
nursing process; assesses, treats and care for patients
demonstrating an understanding of the cognitive, physical,
emotional and chronological maturation process; coordinates care
planning with other disciplines. Oversees the work of other
professional and non-professional personnel. Located about an hour
and a half east of Nashville, this medical center prides themselves
on both their patient care and their patient satisfaction. Each
patient receives individualized care and is treated to the highest
