Job Summary: The staff respiratory care practitioner provides a variety of technical and clinical therapies to patients of all ages. These therapeutic and diagnostic procedures require rational judgement on the part of the practitioner, and may include respiratory, cardiographic (EKG), pulmonary function and oxygen therapy, along with the clerical duties associated with these procedures. The RRT works to fulfill the hospital mission, vision, and values, functions as a shift leader when assigned, and supervises less experienced practitioners.\tYou will demonstrate the ability to perform specific competencies as listed on the Competency Validation Checklist(s). \tYou will meet mutually agreed upon performance goals/objectives established annually as listed on the performance evaluation tool. \tYou will demonstrate an understanding to appropriately protect sensitive and confidential information.
