TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, 37129 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry I Job Specialty: Telemetry Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Registered Nursing License Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification - National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification Must-Have: Successful completion of a proctored rhythm test Job Description: - Provide high-quality care in a 36-bed Cardiovascular Unit. - Care for a diverse patient population, including cardiac and neuro stepdown patients. - Monitor cardiac bedside, administer cardiac drips, manage TR bands, and handle post-heart catheterization patients. - Treat stroke and neuro patients; manage BIPAP overflow cases. - Serve patients across a broad age range from young adult to late adult (18 years and older). - Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6. - Participate in a variable staffing grid including RNs, LPNs, PCTs, and NIs. - Assume full responsibility for the patients within the assigned team. - Ensure all certifications are up to date and maintain compliance with safety protocols.
