Job SummaryA Surgical First Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the success of surgical procedures. They are responsible for assisting surgeons, arranging and handing over tools, holding open incisions, and dressing surgical wounds.Key Responsibilities

• Provide operating room support to physicians and surgeons, including assisting surgeons during procedures and passing required instruments during surgery.
• Comply with all HIPAA rules and regulations, maintaining patient, physician, and employee privacy and confidentiality.
• Communicate effectively and courteously with visitors, physicians, and their office staff, patients, and employees.
• Comply with Policies & Procedures and adhere to safety guidelines to ensure a safe work and patient care environment.
