Requirements
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Job Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Cardiac or Neuro Stepdown unit
or similar critical care environment. Experience with cardiac
bedside monitoring, managing cardiac drips, and caring for
post-heart catheterization patients required.
Skills:
Proficient in managing cardiac drips and post-heart catheter
patients
Comfortable with TR band application and monitoring
Ability to manage stroke/neuro patients and BIPAP overflow
cases
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for handling
high-acuity patients
Ability to monitor and respond to changes in cardiac and neuro
