Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for a
temporary, part-time role at a Berryville, VA Residential Treatment
facility serving children and adolescents with developmental delays
and mental health challenges.
Provides psychiatric care, assessments, medication management, and
treatment planning within scope of practice.
Conducts intake assessments, coordinates referrals, reviews
medications, orders tests, and consults with the treatment
team.
Documents cases, offers counseling to clients and families, and
participates in team meetings and leadership activities.
Responds to crises, reviews literature, and attends professional
development events.
Requires MSN or DNP, 3+ years clinical experience, Virginia
licensure, and certification as a psychiatric mental health nurse
practitioner.
Compensation starts at $70/hour, with potential for extension.
