  • Weekly Stipend: $1,246 (based on 36 hrs/week)Position Overview:We're seeking a skilled Travel RN - PCU to join a high-acuity progressive care unit in Hermitage, TN. Ideal candidates are experienced in managing cardiac and respiratory patients and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.Unit Details:
    • Beds: 34-bed and 25-bed PCU units
    • Patient Ratios:
      • Days: 1:4 - 1:5
      • Nights: 1:5 - 1:6
      • Support Staff:
        • Unit Secretaries and Techs
        • 3 techs when full on 34-bed unit
        • 2 techs when full on 25-bed unit
        • Floating: Between PCU units or to Med-Surg if needed
        • Scheduling: Every other weekend requiredEquipment & Skills:
          • Bipaps, Vapotherm, High Flow O2
          • Alaris Pumps
          • Cardiac, Insulin, Heparin Drips
          • Wound Vacs (in collaboration with Wound Care)
          • Peritoneal Dialysis (preferred)
          • Documentation System: MeditechCertifications Required:
            • BLS (AHA)
            • ACLS (AHA)Required Experience & Skills:
              • Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment
              • EKG rhythm interpretation
              • Cardiac/Heparin/Insulin drip experience
              • Peripheral IV skills
              • Peritoneal dialysis experience (preferred)
