Tennessee Donor Services (TDS) is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic team member to join us to save lives Our mission at TDS is to save lives through organ and tissue donation, and we want professionals on our team that will embrace this important work We want people to join our team in the role of Tissue Recovery Supervisor On Call with previous experience evaluating Tissue Recovery donor eligibility, processor criteria, and coordinating case activity. The ideal candidate will be located within 50 miles of our Nashville facility and will work a hybrid schedule. For over four decades, DCI Donor Services has been a leader in working to end the transplant waiting list. Our unique approach to service allows for nationwide donation, transplantation, and distribution of organs and tissues while maintaining close ties to our local communities. DCI Donor Services operates three organ procurement/tissue recovery organizations: New Mexico Donor Services, Sierra Donor Services, and Tennessee Donor Services. We also maximize the gift of life through the DCI Donor Services Tissue Bank and Sierra Donor Services Eye Bank. Our performance is measured by the way we serve donor families and recipients. Key responsibilities this position will perform include: 1. Screens tissue donor referrals and consented donors to ensure medical/regulatory suitability. 2. Reviews medical/social history of donors to establish donor eligibility. 3. Works with coroner/medical examiner to obtain release for donation. 4. Coordinates donor logistics. 5. Provides onsite support for recovery activities. 1. Other duties as assigned. Schedule This position will work 12-hour night shifts – and will work 3 shifts one week and 4 shifts the next week.
