Pay Information $2,002 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 Years of Experience License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Required Must-Have: - Positive attitude - Teamwork - Problem-solving skills Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit. The unit has 12 beds with a patient ratio of 4:1. There is 1 technician available for the unit. Equipment used includes GE monitors, Nova glucometers, and Pyxis med dispense. The documentation system utilized is Meditech. The schedule requires working every other weekend. Floating may be necessary in rotation with full-time staff and other travelers. Patient experience requirements include AIDET, completion of a communication board, and medication teaching. The requested skill set includes post-cardiac catheterization care, particularly the care of the TR band. Candidates must possess a positive attitude, demonstrate teamwork, and have effective problem-solving abilities. Advanced skills required include care of the TR band, advanced pulmonary treatments, and medication titration. No procedures are performed on the unit. Dress code requires charcoal gray scrubs. Unit-specific policies and guidelines will be provided.
