- 07:15 AM Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 1 year
License: Current RN license Certifications: - Basic Life Support
(BLS) Certification - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Certification - National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Certification Must-Have: - Prior experience in stepdown or
intermediate care Description: We are looking for highly motivated
individuals to join our ICU department. We care for patients within
a supportive team environment. We have excellent working
relationships with teams across the organization. Our unit has a
capacity of 32 beds. We serve a diverse patient population
including those with respiratory failure, CHF, MI, chronic
dialysis, post-surgical needs, CABG, CRRT, and neuro cases.
Patients range in age from adolescent through late adult (16 to
60). The nurse to patient ratio is 1:2. Staffing consists of
mid-level providers, registered nurses, surgical first assists,
surgical technicians, nursing care partners, nurse externs, doulas,
and clerical associates. Each shift has a designated team leader. A
registered nurse assumes full responsibility for all patient care.
