This position is on a medical-surgical unit with 30 beds. The
patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:6. The unit is staffed with clinical
coordinators, unit secretaries, patient care technicians, and case
managers. Common types of equipment used include walkers, IV pumps,
and SCDs. The documentation system used is Meditech. Scheduling
requirements include 4 weekend shifts within a 28-day schedule and
participation in holiday rotation. Floating to other units may be
required as part of the staffing policy. A patient experience
target of 72% must be achieved, utilizing communication boards.
Candidates should possess medical-surgical experience, including
exposure to various respiratory diseases, renal disease,
gastrointestinal illnesses, telemetry, central venous catheters,
indwelling catheters, and heparin infusions. This is an opportunity
to work in a supportive and collaborative environment. The dress
code requires navy blue scrubs. Unit-specific policies and
