Ascension is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Circulator RN to join our faith-based healthcare organization. As part of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe, caring, and efficient surgical environment, making a direct impact on patient care and outcomes in our state-of-the-art facilities. Manage the nursing care of surgical patients in the operating room, ensuring that sterilization and safety protocols are followed. Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals to facilitate top-quality care and patient safety. Prepare the operating room by setting up surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring all necessary tools are available and functioning before the procedure. Assist in the positioning of the patient on the operating table, adhering to strict protocols to prevent contusions or nerve damage. Monitor and maintain aseptic techniques throughout surgeries. Document patient information and surgical proceedings according to hospital policy. Support patient comfort and provide emotional support throughout the surgical process. Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and terminology Proficient in aseptic and sterile techniques Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills High level of organization and attention to detail Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
