Job Description:
Ascension is seeking dedicated Seasonal Travel Nurses (RN) to
join our faith-based healthcare team. This role is vital for
providing high-quality care and support in our network of
hospitals, clinics, and doctor offices, especially during peak
seasonal periods. As part of a mission-driven organization, you
will work in various settings, adapting to different environments
while upholding the commitment to innovate and deliver
compassionate, personalized care. You will play a critical role in
transforming healthcare experiences and outcomes for our
communities. Travel to assigned healthcare facilities within the
Ascension network to provide nursing care according to seasonal
needs. Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and
implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records.
Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled
patients. Advise patients on health maintenance and disease
prevention or provide case management. Support patient health by
collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
Maintain a safe, secure, and therapeutic patient environment.
Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance
requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, and
troubleshooting malfunctions. Document patient care services by
charting in patient and department records. Strong clinical skills
in a hospital setting Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills Adaptability to changing environments and work schedules
Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems Ability to
perform efficiently under pressure Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered
Nurse (RN) license in home state or a compact state. Basic Life
Support (BLS) certified by the American Heart Association or
American Red Cross. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
certification preferred.
