Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Nashville, TN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,764 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: Cardiac experience Strong critical care experience Description: The unit has 32 beds with a patient ratio of 2:1. Student nurse externs are available as techs. A unit secretary is available Monday through Friday. Type of equipment includes Hill-Rom beds and Phillips telemetry monitors. Documentation is done using the Meditech system. Scheduling is done in 4-week cycles, requiring 3-4 weekend shifts per cycle. Floating to other units may be necessary depending on census. Advanced skills needed include PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring, IABP, Impella, and CRRT preferred. Procedures performed on the unit include central line insertion, Swan insertion, and intubations. This unit has a growing cardiogenic shock program with specialized providers. There are 12 beds designated for cardiogenic shock patients. The unit promotes excellent teamwork among engaged staff.
