Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical Intensive Care Unit Location: Nashville, TN Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $1,671 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position ID: 73976753 Shift: 19:00-07:00 Description: : Skyline Medical Center Location: Nashville, TN Address: 3441 Dickerson Road Unit Name: MICU Building: Main Cost Center: 650 General Information Unit Specifics: Number of Beds : 31 Patient Ratios : 2:1, sometimes 1:1 or 3:1 depending on acuity/staffing Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : unit secretary staffed during dayshift. Occasional nurse extern working as a tech. Type of equipment: Ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, EV 1000. Documentation system: Meditech Scheduling requirements: Minimum weekend requirement is 4 weekend shifts per schedule. Schedule is done in 4 week increments. Self-scheduling to an extent. Manager will move shifts to balance out schedule. Floating policy: Contract labor is first to float. If the staffing need is in med/surg, contract labor is expected to float to med/surg and take the assignment. Patient Experience requirements: Expected to provide attentive and compassionate care to patients/family members. Hospital Specifics- Certifications: ACLS, BLS Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Must have: Active RN license. ACLS. BLS. ICU experience. Advanced skills needed: Procedures performed on unit: Insertion of central lines, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, EVD insertions. Certifications Required: ACLS. BLS.
