TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified
ICU/Critical Care RN in Bowling Green, Kentucky, 42104! Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12
Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: Critical thinking skills
Self-motivated Description: This position is in the Intensive Care
Unit. The unit has a total of 16 beds. Patient ratios are typically
2:1, with occasional 3:1. Staffing includes medical technicians,
with tech support dependent on census. Equipment used on the unit
includes Impella, GE monitors, temporary pacemakers, EKOS, IABP,
Arctic Sun, and hemodynamic monitoring. Documentation is done
through Meditech. Scheduling requires 36 hours of work weekly.
Floating is done in rotation with core staffing. Patient experience
is a priority. Advanced skills needed include central line
insertions and dialysis catheter insertions. The dress code
includes scrubs of any color, with no denim, capris, or camouflage
allowed. Unit-specific policies and guidelines are available upon

blankets for hospice patients and being recipients of outstanding
