Job Description:
Ascension, a leading faith-based healthcare organization, is
seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiation Therapist to join our
team. In this role, you will be tasked with providing expert
radiation therapy services as part of our comprehensive cancer
treatment programs. Our commitment to innovative healthcare and

the lives of our patients. Administer radiation therapy as
prescribed by a radiologist or oncologist. Maintain detailed
records of treatment sessions and patient reactions. Follow strict
safety protocols to avoid unnecessary exposure to radiation. Assist
in the development and planning of treatment plans using
computer-based applications. Monitor patient progress and adjust
treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients and their families
on treatment expectations and post-treatment care. Maintain and
calibrate radiation therapy equipment to ensure it is functional
and safe for use. Proficiency in the use of radiation therapy
equipment and technology. Strong understanding of radiation safety
and protection principles. Excellent patient management skills to
deal with diverse patient needs. Ability to collaborate with
multidisciplinary teams including doctors, nurses, and other
healthcare professionals. Strong communication skills for
explaining treatment plans and providing patient care instructions.
