Job Description:
Nashville Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking an
experienced and dedicated Nurse Unit Manager to lead our nursing
team in providing high-quality care and rehabilitation services.
This role involves overseeing the nursing unit's operations,
ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, and
nurturing a compassionate environment that aligns with our
commitment to excellent clinical outcomes. The ideal candidate will
have a proven track record of leadership in a healthcare setting,
exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of
patient care in a rehabilitation or skilled nursing context. Manage
the nursing staff and coordinate with other healthcare
professionals to ensure high-quality patient care Develop and
implement policies and procedures that comply with medical and
legal requirements Monitor patient care for quality assurance and
efficacy of treatment Manage unit budget and staffing to maximize
resource efficiency Provide training and mentorship to nursing
staff to foster a supportive and competent workforce Handle patient
cases and medical records with confidentiality and professionalism
Ensure compliance with state and federal health regulations
Actively participate in the development of patient care plans and
oversee clinical outcomes Strong leadership and organizational
skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient
in clinical management and information systems Ability to work
effectively in stressful situations and handle complex healthcare
scenarios Compassionate and patient-focused approach Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Active
RN license Certified Nurse Manager and Leader (CNML) or similar
certification preferred
