Job Description:
TriStar Centennial Medical Center, located in the heart of
Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a skilled and experienced Surgery
Nurse Manager to lead our surgical nursing team. We are a
comprehensive healthcare facility renowned for our exceptional
patient care across various specialties including emergency care,
cardiology, and oncology. The Surgery Nurse Manager will be
instrumental in overseeing the operations of our surgery
department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality surgical care,
managing nursing staff, and upholding the center's standards of
excellence. Oversee daily operations of the surgical unit, ensuring
compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards. Supervise
and evaluate nursing staff, and provide performance feedback and
career development guidance. Collaborate with interdisciplinary
medical teams to advance patient care plans and outcomes. Manage
budgeting and resource allocation within the surgery department.
Ensure the surgery unit's adherence to safety and quality
protocols. Participate in recruitment and training of new nursing
staff members. Lead efforts to improve patient satisfaction within
the surgical services offered. Strong leadership and organizational
skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Profound
knowledge of surgical operations and procedures Ability to manage a
diverse team and resolve conflicts effectively Proficiency in
healthcare management software and electronic health records
