Job Description:
TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center, located in the vibrant
heart of Nashville, TN, is seeking a dedicated Ultrasound
Technician to join our dynamic radiology team. As an integral part
of our medical center, which is renowned for its exemplary
emergency care, cardiology, orthopedics, and rehabilitation
services, the successful candidate will use state-of-the-art
technology to provide diagnostic imaging services under the
guidance of our compassionate team of healthcare professionals.
This role demands a meticulous attention to detail and the ability
to provide patient-centric care in a fast-paced environment.
Operate ultrasound equipment to perform diagnostic examinations
across various modalities. Maintain patient comfort and safety
during ultrasound procedures. Communicate effectively with patients
to explain procedures, interpret doctor's orders, and gather
patient history. Collaborate with healthcare team members to
assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Maintain
accurate patient records and adhere to confidentiality and health
regulations. Participate in continuous education sessions to
enhance technical skills and stay updated with advancements in
medical technology. Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting
ultrasound equipment Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Detail-oriented with strong analytic skills Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified by
the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) CPR
certification preferred
