Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Dickson, TN Agency: Thrive Staffing Pay: $1,392 to $1,586 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title RN - Labor/Delivery (L&D) City/State: Dickson, Tennessee Shift: Nights, 19:00-07:00 Contract Length: 12.00-3, 84 Start Date: 03/02/2026 Job Description: MUST HAVE CHARGE EXPERIENCE Responsibilities: Provide care and support for women before, during, and after labor and childbirth. Monitor fetal heartbeat, contractions, and the mother's vital signs using fetal monitoring equipment. Assist during childbirth, including managing C-sections and emergency situations such as shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage. Transition and assess newborns after delivery. Document all patient care activities in Meditech and CPN systems. Participate in daily safety and patient rounding. Adhere to the floating policy within the facility as necessary. Requirements: Labor and delivery experience, including laboring and recovering the mother and transitioning the newborn. Experience with obstetric emergencies, including shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage. Advanced skills in fetal monitoring and inductions using Pitocin and cervidil. Certifications required: BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring training. Pink and/or brown scrubs required per the infant security policy for the unit.
