Internal Medicine Residency Program DirectorNear Addison, Alabama We are seeking a visionary and accomplished Board-Certified Internal Medicine physician to lead our growing Residency Program. This is an exceptional opportunity to shape the future of graduate medical education while maintaining a balanced role in clinical practice. Position Overview The Program Director will oversee all aspects of the Internal Medicine Residency Program, providing both leadership and hands-on mentorship. Key Responsibilities: Split role: 20 hours/week administrative & educational duties and 20 hours/week clinical practice (outpatient care and resident supervision). Develop and implement the program???s vision, mission, and curriculum. Maintain accreditation in partnership with the sponsoring institution. Recruit, appoint, evaluate, and retain program leadership in alignment with ACGME standards. Lead educational activities including lectures, journal clubs, orientations, simulation sessions, and conferences. Direct the residency interview and selection process. Monitor resident progress, ensuring achievement of educational goals through hands-on training and ongoing feedback.
