In this role, you'll be pivotal in aiding diagnostic procedures alongside a team committed to exceptional care. You'll work with state-of-the-art equipment in a supportive environment that focusses on patient care and professional growth. Perform radiographic and other diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing diseases and injuries. Ensure patient safety during all imaging processes, including the proper use of all radiation safety measures. Prepare and maintain imaging equipment and instrumentation according to departmental protocols. Manage the radiology workflow efficiently while maintaining a high standard of image quality. Communicate effectively with patients, explain procedures, and ensure their comfort during the entire imaging process. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, particularly those regarding health, safety, and confidentiality. Proficiency in operating radiologic and imaging equipment Strong understanding of radiation safety and protection practices. Excellent patient management skills to ensure comfort and safety Ability to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified and registered as a Radiologic Technologist by the ARRT Valid state radiology licensure
