This position offers the unique opportunity to work within a supportive environment that strives to provide superior medical services across various specialties such as emergency care, cardiology, and oncology. As a Weekend Ultrasound Tech, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating patients by utilizing state-of-the-art imaging technology to create detailed images of the human body. Operate ultrasound equipment to produce and record images of the motion, shape, and composition of blood, organs, tissues, or bodily masses. Ensure the comfort and safety of the patient during the procedure. Adjust equipment settings and evaluate the images for quality and coverage of the areas required by the physician. Discuss preliminary findings with physicians and forward finalized diagnostic reports. Maintain patient records and add medical notes related to the ultrasound procedure. Adhere to departmental protocols, policies, and procedures for sanitation, hygiene, and safety. Engage with patients to explain procedures, answer questions, and relay information about what to expect during the ultrasound. Proficient in using diagnostic ultrasound equipment Strong analytical and diagnostic skills Excellent patient communication and care Ability to work independently Detail-oriented Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Compliance with all state and federal licensing standards
