Job Description Job Title: Physician - Radiology (Breast Imaging) Location: Decatur, GA 30033 Duration: 12 months to long term Shift: 5x8-Hour (07:30 AM – 04:00 PM) Job Responsibilities:. • Responsible for providing Breast Specialty Radiology procedures, including, but not limited • A Breast Imaging Radiologist is a specialized medical professional dedicated to diagnosing and evaluating breast health using advanced imaging technologies. • These radiologists are pivotal in the early detection and management of breast diseases, including breast cancer, by interpreting mammograms, ultrasounds, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and other imaging modalities. • Their expertise enables them to identify abnormalities within breast tissue, distinguish between benign conditions and malignant tumors, and guide biopsy procedures when necessary. • Integral to a multidisciplinary healthcare team, Breast Imaging Radiologists collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, and primary care doctors to ensure comprehensive patient care. • Their role extends beyond interpretation; they provide essential consultations to clarify diagnostic findings, discuss potential treatment paths, and alleviate patient concerns. • By investing in continuous learning and staying abreast of evolving imaging techniques and technologies, these radiologists contribute significantly to advancing breast health outcomes and fostering informed, patient-centered care.
