Job Description:
TriStar Centennial Medical Center, a leader in pediatric care in
Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate New
Nurse Support to join our Pediatrics team. This role is designed to
bridge the transition from nursing education to practical, in-field
pediatric nursing. Our pediatric department offers a nurturing
environment dedicated to providing exceptional care to our youngest
patients and their families. As a New Nurse Support, you will work
closely with experienced nurses and specialists to develop your
skills, understanding, and practical approach in pediatric nursing,
ensuring the implementation of best practices and adherence to the
highest standards of pediatric care. Assist in the delivery of
patient care under the supervision of qualified nurses. Learn and
execute age-appropriate nursing care for pediatric patients. Engage
in continuous education sessions and hands-on training. Support the
pediatric team in administrative functions and routine patient
care. Document patient care services by charting in patient and
department records. Adhere to infection-control policies and
protocols. Facilitate a supportive and compassionate environment to
patients and their families. Strong pediatric assessment skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work
well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in
using medical software and patient care devices. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered
Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee or eligible for
licensure. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon
hire.
