TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center, a leading full-service
hospital in Smyrna, TN, is seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Nurse
Manager to lead our dynamic emergency department. This role is
crucial in maintaining the highest standards of care and
operational efficiency in a fast-paced and critical environment.
The Emergency Room Nurse Manager will oversee all aspects of the
emergency room nursing staff and operations, ensuring exemplary
emergency care, compliance with safety standards, and effective
patient and staff management. The chosen candidate will have the
opportunity to work in a facility known for its advanced
diagnostics, emergency care, and specialty services in cardiology
and orthopedics. Lead and supervise the emergency nursing team to
ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to hospital
procedures and safety regulations. Develop and implement policies
that improve emergency department efficiency and patient care
outcomes. Manage departmental staffing, including hiring, training,
and performance evaluation. Ensure compliance with all federal,
state, and local regulations and standards. Collaborate with other
hospital departments to facilitate multidisciplinary approaches to
patient care. Prepare and manage the budget for the emergency
department. Analyze patient satisfaction and operational metrics to
continuously improve service and outcomes Support the continuing
education and professional development of the nursing staff. Strong
leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills Proficient in emergency care and trauma
nursing Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced
environment Skilled in staff management and development Knowledge
of healthcare regulations and standards Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered
Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee. Certification in
Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
(ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required.
Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
