Job Description:
Williamson Health and Wellness Center is currently seeking a
dedicated and skilled DME (Durable Medical Equipment) Technician
for PRN (as-needed) positions to support our mission of enhancing
community health through tailored care and innovative wellness
programs. The DME Technician will be responsible for the delivery,
setup, and maintenance of medical equipment, providing essential
services that directly impact the quality of life for our patients
in Williamson, WV. Deliver, install, and provide instruction on the
use of DME to patients and caregivers. Perform routine inspections
and maintenance on equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
Record and maintain accurate inventory of all DME supplies.
Coordinate with healthcare providers to assess patient needs and
adapt equipment as necessary. Respond to emergency calls for
equipment repair or assistance. Educate patients and their families
on equipment use and maintenance. Technical proficiency with
various types of medical equipment Strong organizational and time
management skills Excellent communication and instructional skills
Problem-solving abilities and an aptitude for mechanical work
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Valid driver’s
license Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
