Williamson Health and Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist-In-Patient to join our team in Williamson, WV. This role is pivotal in enhancing community health by providing precise and compassionate blood collection services for analysis and diagnosis. This position ensures that patient care meets the standards of safety, effectiveness, and patient rights. Perform venipuncture and other blood collection methods with minimal discomfort to patients. Verify patient information and maintain accurate records of all specimens collected. Adhere to safety standards and protocols to ensure the integrity of samples and safety of patients. Assist in the processing of blood samples for various tests and transfusions. Communicate effectively with patients and the healthcare team to provide updates and educate on follow-up care. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area to comply with regulatory requirements. Expertise in various phlebotomy techniques (e.g., venipuncture, capillary sampling). Understanding of proper biohazard disposal and OSHA guidelines. Ability to handle and process specimens. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) from an accredited organization such as the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) or American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
