Job Description Are you a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist
looking to make a meaningful impact in a supportive,
student-centered environment? Our team is seeking a highly skilled
professional to join us in providing exceptional therapeutic
services to a diverse student population across grades PreK–8 .
This role is designed for an educator who thrives in collaborative
settings and possesses a deep clinical understanding of Autism
Spectrum Disorder (ASD) , specifically within self-contained

community. Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will be the
bridge between clinical expertise and student success. Your daily
impact will include: Targeted Intervention: Delivering high-quality
speech and language services to students in PreK–8, with a
specialized focus on those in self-contained ASD programs.
Collaborative Care: Partnering with teachers, ABA therapists, and
families to integrate communication goals into the student’s total
educational experience. IEP Management: Leading the development of
individualized goals, conducting comprehensive evaluations, and
maintaining meticulous progress documentation. Innovation in AAC:
Implementing and managing Augmentative and Alternative
Communication (AAC) systems to ensure every student has a
functional way to interact. Job Overview: Provide direct,
data-driven speech and language therapy, develop and implement
compliant Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and manage all
necessary documentation for a diverse PreK–8 caseload, including
those with communication deficits impacted by Autism Spectrum
Disorder (ASD). Conduct comprehensive speech and language
evaluations, screenings, and assessments to identify communication
disorders and determine eligibility for services, ensuring timely
report completion. Consult with teachers, parents, and school staff
to integrate speech language strategies into the classroom
environment and support overall student academic success.
Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or
Communication Sciences and Disorders Valid Connecticut Speech
Language Pathologist (SLP) License Prior experience working with a
diverse caseload across PreK–8 grades, and serving students
identified with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in self-contained
