Job Description:
Williamson Health and Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated
Registered Nurse for our Medical/Oncology department, who will
provide compassionate and comprehensive care to patients in our
community. This role involves working closely with oncologists to
administer medications, manage side effects, and support patients'
emotional and psychological needs. Our center thrives on a
philosophy that integrates holistic and innovative approaches into
traditional treatment plans, thus enhancing patient recovery and
wellness in Williamson, WV. Administer chemotherapy and other
medications under the direction of an oncologist Monitor patient
responses to treatments and adjust care plans accordingly Educate
patients and their families on disease processes, treatment plans,
and healthcare maintenance Assess patient symptoms and reported
complications, coordinating with healthcare teams to provide
effective interventions Maintain accurate patient records and
comply with healthcare regulations and standards Proficient in
administering chemotherapy and managing side effects Strong
communication and education skills Ability to work collaboratively
in a multidisciplinary team Empathetic and compassionate patient
care Skill in emergency response and patient monitoring Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Current RN license in
the state of West Virginia Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN)
certification preferred BLS/ACLS Certification
