Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate PACU
Nurse to join our dynamic team. As a PACU Nurse at HCA Healthcare,
you will be responsible for providing post-anesthesia care to
patients recovering from surgical procedures. Ensuring the highest
level of patient care, safety, and comfort aligns with our mission
to improve human life. You will administer medications, monitor
vital signs, and assess patients' recovery, facilitating their
transition from anesthesia to recovery. Collaborating closely with
surgeons and anesthesiologists, your role is pivotal in our
commitment to excellence in patient outcomes at our
state-of-the-art facilities. Monitor patient vital signs and levels
of consciousness during the recovery phase post-anesthesia.
Administer medications as prescribed and monitor responses. Assess
and manage patients’ pain levels and comfort, adjusting care as
necessary. Coordinate with healthcare team members to deliver
holistic patient care. Educate patients and their families on
post-procedure care and health management. Maintain accurate
patient records and ensure confidentiality. Strong knowledge of
anesthesia and surgical care practices. Ability to monitor and
interpret vital signs. Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills. High proficiency in managing multiple tasks in a
high-stress environment. Detail-oriented with strong observational
skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse license in the state of
practice. BLS/ACLS certification from the American Heart
Association.
