Job Details Employment Type: Locum Tenens Per Diem (OB/GYN physician job) Location: Livingston, TN 38570 — Upper Cumberland, Tennessee Estimated Weekly Pay: $6,150 – $7,280 (competitive per diem pay) Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts (any) Patient Encounters Per Shift: 2–4 (labor & delivery, triage) Department Beds: 6 (Labor & Delivery/OB unit) Start Date: July 17, 2026 End Date: July 18, 2026 Job Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Active, unrestricted Physician license (Tennessee preferred) BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in Obstetrics & Gynecology Experience managing both low- and high-risk pregnancies and deliveries Ability to perform and interpret OB ultrasounds (Level I/II) preferred Fellowship training in Obstetrics and Gynecology or Maternal-Fetal Medicine is a plus Responsibilities Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, including routine and complicated deliveries Manage low- and high-risk pregnancies, triage obstetric patients, and coordinate appropriate consults Perform vaginal and low forceps deliveries; evaluate and perform cesarean sections when indicated Manage multiple births and breech deliveries with appropriate clinical judgment Interpret fetal heart rate monitoring (NST/CST/FSE) and perform OB ultrasounds when required Conduct office-based and minor gynecologic procedures (IUD placement, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, cystoscopy, etc.) Perform surgical gynecology procedures including open and laparoscopic interventions Collaborate with nursing, anesthesia, neonatology, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality maternal and neonatal care Document patient encounters and maintain compliance with hospital policies and quality standards Why Join Our Team Locum tenens per diem OB/GYN role with competitive weekly compensation Opportunity to practice full-scope obstetrics and gynecology in a supportive hospital setting Work in Livingston — access to outdoor recreation and a friendly Tennessee community Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Locum Tenens Per Diem Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician in Livingston, TN.
