• Coverage Dates: June 17, 2026 through August 31, 2026
• Days Needed:
  • June: 11 days
  • July: 27 days
  • August: 26 days
• Must be available for consistent procedural coverage throughout the assignment

License Requirements

• Active Tennessee License Required
• DEA Required

Certifications & Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible - Required
• ACLS - Required
• BLS - Required
• PALS - Highly Preferred
• NRP - Nice to Have
• Residency/Fellowship Training - Nice to Have

Clinical Skills Required

Candidates must have experience performing and/or assisting with a broad range of Interventional Radiology procedures, including:

Vascular & Endovascular Procedures

• Diagnostic angiography and arteriography
• Diagnostic venography
• Angioplasty
• Stent placement
• Atherectomy
• Embolization and chemoembolization
• Thrombectomy
• Thrombolytic therapy
• Vena cava filter placement
• Endovenous laser therapy
• Therapeutic infusion of vasoactive agents
• TARE/SIRT procedures

Image-Guided Procedures

• Biopsies
• Aspirations
• Drainage procedures
• Arthrogram injections
• Musculoskeletal injections and aspirations
• Tumor ablation procedures (radiofrequency and cryoablation)

GI, GU & Hepatobiliary Procedures

• Gastrostomy and gastrojejunostomy
• Cecostomy
• Nephrostomy
• Ureteral stenting
• Stone access/removal
• Biliary drainage and stenting
• Cholecystostomy placement
• Pancreatic duct interventions

Access & Drainage Procedures

• Central venous catheter placement and management
• Dialysis catheter placement and management
• Chest tube placement
• Ultrasound-guided thoracentesis
• Ultrasound-guided paracentesis

Specialty Procedures

• TIPS (Transjugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunt)
• Uterine artery embolization
• Vertebral augmentation procedures
• Lymphangiography
• Lumbar punctures
• Myelograms
• Epidural steroid injections
• Facet injections
• Nerve blocks
• Fallopian tube recanalization procedures

Practice Details

• Works closely with Interventional Radiologist
• Supported by Imaging Operations Team
• EMR: Epic
• Acute Care Hospital Setting

Ideal Candidate

• Experienced Interventional Radiology NP or PA with extensive procedural background
• Comfortable managing a broad spectrum of vascular, oncologic, hepatobiliary, GI, GU, and musculoskeletal IR procedures
• Strong procedural autonomy and collaboration skills
• Epic experience preferred
