Ultrasonographer position is a great opportunity to join the
Imaging Department which has the lowest turnover rate in the
hospital and is a very collaborative, supportive team! We are
looking for a Ultrasonographer to work PT Nights, Thursday -
Saturday 8:30pm - 7am.

What You Will Do
As an Associate with Saint Thomas Health Services, you will have
the opportunity to perform diagnostic procedures on patients using
ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structure, providing
quality images for interpretation.
* Sets up and adjusts all equipment and manually maneuvers
transducers to perform exams.
* Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality

What You Will Need
* Required Credential(s):
* BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association
(AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. For current
incumbents as of 4/30/18, BLS required upon expiration of Heart
* One or more of the following:
* Registered Radiologic Technologist specializing in Vascular
Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic
Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer
* Registered Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American
Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior
to hire date or job transfer date. Must have or be board-eligible
for one of the following: RDMS, RT(S), RT(VS), RVS, or RVT obtained
within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
* Registered Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American
Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) OR Registered
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed
from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
* Registered Sonography Tech specializing in Vascular Sonography
credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical
Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer
date. Must have or be board-eligible for one of the following:
RDMS, RT(S), RT(VS), RVS, or RVT obtained within 6 Months (180
days) of hire date or job transfer date.
* Registered Sonography Tech specializing in Cardiac credentialed
from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained
prior to hire date or job transfer date.
* High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or
Associate's degree, or Technical degree required
